Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health offers outpatient programs for children and adolescents requiring intensive treatment outside of an inpatient stay, including:
- Partial Hospitalization Program: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Intensive Outpatient Program: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health provides comprehensive treatment for patients experiencing problems with psychiatric, behavioral and addiction disorders. This program is designed for patients that need more support and structure than outpatient therapy services and do not need inpatient hospitalization services.
Children and Adolescent Services address Emotional, Behavioral and Substance Problems. Services include family therapy and collaboration with community providers. Groups that address a variety of problems that may interfere with a person’s ability to function at school or home. Mental health conditions are characterized by alterations mood, behavior, or thinking and associated with distress and impaired functioning. Early intervention is needed before it becomes potentially life altering. These programs can help a patient and their family transition back to their daily schedule and function at a higher level in daily living. Patients may be directly admitted to the program or transition from inpatient hospitalization.
Assessment and Referral
Assessment and Referral Services can provide more information about admissions to the Children and Adolescent Outpatient Programs. Each patient will participate in a preliminary assessment and pre-certification with their insurance company. Most patients can begin programming the next day. Please call to schedule an appointment. Costs are covered by many insurance plans. Our financial counselors can help with financial arrangements for costs not covered by insurance.
