Intensive Outpatient Program
The intensive outpatient program at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is a half-day treatment option for adults who suffer from a behavioral health issue but do not require the 24-hour intensive care of an outpatient program.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
The Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) half-day schedule allows patients to receive treatment while continuing to maintain their home, school or work obligations.
The half-day IOP for adults meets Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We strongly encourage patients leaving an inpatient or partial hospitalization program to transition to IOP for continued progression.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program – Evening
In addition to our part-time treatment program, we also offer an evening IOP for adults. The evening IOP consists of the same treatments and therapies as the typical IOP program, but with the added benefit of taking place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the evening.
Getting the treatment you need is important, but so are work or school commitments that may make it tough to attend treatment during the day. Our evening IOP allows you to avoid clashing schedules and work towards a happier, healthier life without sacrificing your career or academics in the process. We also offer virtual multifamily therapy from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Virtual adult IOP services are available on a case-by-case basis.
