Acute Inpatient Care for Adults

The adult inpatient programs at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health are designed for adults who require 24-hour care due to severe symptoms of a mental health or substance use disorder. These programs are designed to help patients minimize acute symptoms and transition into a less intensive level of care as quickly as possible.

Once a patient completes an inpatient program, they can transition into an outpatient program for continued progress in a less restrictive setting.
