General Psychiatric
The adult general psychiatric program at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is designed to provide 24-hour intensive care to individuals age 18 and older who struggle with a mental health disorder.
Adult General Psychiatric Program
Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients identify problem behaviors and develop effective coping skills they can utilize after leaving our care. Issues treated in our Adult General program include:
- Experiencing thoughts of harming yourself
- Active suicide ideations
- Anxiety
- Trauma disorders
- Major depressive disorders
- Acute panic/stress disorder
For continued progress, we strongly encourage patients to transition into a less intensive outpatient program after they leave inpatient care.
