Our adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers a supportive space where teens (ages 12 & up) connect with peers facing similar challenges and work through anxiety, depression and life stressors under the guidance of a licensed mental health professional.

Adolescent Evening Intensive Outpatient Program

For adolescents ages 12 to 17, our evening intensive outpatient program (IOP) takes place from 4 pm to 7 pm for four to six weeks on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and is offered both virtually and in-person.

Program Details

  • Initial intake assessment done in-person with parent(s) where the adolescent and parent(s) will be asked about mental and physical health history and current symptoms
  • Multifamily therapy to strengthen parent-child connection and communication through education
  • Learn and implement coping strategies to help the adolescent navigate through transitions and mental health issues
  • Evidence-based treatment including two hours of processing group therapy and one hour of psychoeducation where they learn coping strategies
  • Individualized treatment plans and medication management for mental health issues such as:
    • Impairment in day-to-day educational, social and interpersonal commitments relationships
    • Functioning depression
    • Anxiety (general anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, OCD)
    • Self-harm
    • Bipolar disorder and other mood disorders
    • Low self-esteem
    • Intrusive thoughts
    • Emotional regulation
    • And more
